Current Artistic Endeavors

Presently based in a New York City Borough, Brooklyn, I operate two art studios. My expertise spans various mediums: painting oil on canvas, crafting enduring glazed wall tile murals, producing experimental and traditional ceramic pieces, and crafting bespoke portraits by order.

Artistic Happiness and Vitality

Creating art is not just a vocation. It’s my happiness. Essential for my well-being and contentment, my art breathes life into my existence, much like food sustains living beings.

Embracing Challenges and Seeking Recognition

Challenges are my playground. I actively participate in art contests and workshops, accumulating scores of awards and prizes throughout my illustrious career. Like writers penning untold stories, I translate mine into visual forms, never wary of experimenting with diverse art media to satisfy my curiosity and fuel creativity.

Transition to Soft Pastels

While oil on canvas has been my cherished medium for years, a captivating shift occurred in January 2022. Venturing into the world of soft pastels on paper, I discovered their friendly nature, ushering in unprecedented success. Now, these pastels become one of my chosen mediums for storytelling, capturing and freezing the vibrant tales of New York City and its boroughs.

Versatility in Practice

Working across oil paintings, soft pastels, and ceramics, my practice reflects versatility. From large-scale murals to intimate portraiture, I offer viewers a generous outlook on our world.

Observational Passion

Grounded in sensitivity as an observer, my art captures the unnoticed everyday moments, rendering them as stories infused with curiosity and compassion. Realism defines my images of urban New York City life, while other works delve into experimental realms, exploring metaphysical questions with a touch of contemporary surrealism. These twin poles in my visual arts practice delve into the human condition, weaving together the nuances of daily life with larger questions about our place in the universe.
